  In this part of the world consisting indo pak region receive rains in the moon soon season but this time these rains proved to be a biggest catastrophe for Pakistan which caused floods and have affected 20 million people of Pakistan ranging from Chilas to Thatha and Badin , rather one can safely say this is the biggest human tragedy in the recent history of world causing unimaginable loss to economy of Pakistan and of course the lives of the people living in the area.

Some of the initial damage assessment carried out by UN agencies is as under.

People Affected: 20 million

Loss of life: 1700

People displaced: 7.5 million

Area affected: 160,000 Square Kilometers

Safe Winds Pakistan rushed to area of flood to mitigate the sufferings of the people of area and donated following provisions to flood affected people in district Muzffargarh of southern Punjab.

Cooked Food:
distributed cooked food to 50,000 people

Medical facility:
Established medical camps on four places and give the free medical treatment and medicine to 2000 patient.

Dry Rashen distribution:
distributed rashen to 3400 families

Eid gift distribution:
distributed gifts on eid to 650 school children

Established tent village for IDPs.
Established tent village for 150 families

Cloth distribution to IDPs:
distributed clothes to 150 families
